Talking about cricket, it’s been four years since the 41-year-old hung his boots in international cricket. It was the time Team India under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, was in action in the ODI World Cup 2019.
Yuvi played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs, and 58 T20Is in his illustrious 19-year-long career in which he scored 1900 Test runs, 8701 ODI runs, and 1177 T20I runs with a batting average of 33.92, 36.55, and 28.02 respectively. Notably, it was only Yuvraj Singh who played a defining role in India’s title triumph in the T20 World Cup 2007 and ODI World Cup 2011. He won the ‘Player of the Tournament in the ODI World Cup 2011 for his heroics and game-changing performances for India both with the bat and the ball throughout the tournament.
