Former Indian skipper batting superstar, Virat Kohli has achieved another milestone in ODI cricket with his sensational century in the ongoing super-4 match against Pakistan. It was also the 47th ODI century of Virat Kohli and he is now just behind the former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar who had 49 ODI centuries in his illustrious career 24 years.
Apart from that, Kohli broke Sachin's record of scoring 13,000 ODI runs in a smaller number of innings. Earlier, Sachin was the fastest to reach 13,000 ODI runs by reaching the landmark in 321 innings but Kohli went on to surpass him and became the fastest to reach 13,000 runs in just 267 innings.
Now, the 34-year-old modern-day batting great is ahead of Sachin Tendulkar and former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting in terms of quickly reaching the mark of 13,000 ODI runs. Speaking of the ongoing super-4 clash between India and Pakistan, Virat Kohli played an outstanding knock of 122 runs off just 94 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes.

Other than Kohli, the Star Indian batter K: Rahul also made a stunning comeback and smashed an amazing century. He scored 111 runs off 106 balls, including 12 fours and 2 sixes. On the back of these two centuries following the half-centuries openers, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, India managed to post a total of 356 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan were the only two bowlers who could take the wickets for Pakistan. Both of them scalped one wicket each.
Pakistan are currently struggling and completely on a backfoot in the match, they have lost 7 wickets on the score of 119 runs in 29.4 overs. Shaheen Afridi just arrived in the middle to join Faheem Ashraf after Iftikhar Ahmed fell prey in a caught and bowled to Kuldeep Yadav.
Kuldeep has scalped 4 wickets for India so far, alongside one wicket each picked by Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Shardul Thakur.
