RCB defeated LSG by 19 runs and avenged their loss in a cracking style.
However, during the match, former RCB captain Virat Kohli was all pumped and unusually animated because of the previous loss and the reactions of LSG members. He also exchanged some words with LSG pacer Naveen ul Haq and mentor Gautam Gambhir. Meanwhile, Kohli posted a picture on his Instagram account after winning the match.
Interestingly, Danish Sait, who is often seen as Mr. Nags in RCB behind-the-scenes videos, commented under Kohli’s post and wrote, “King, 1 Call, next time all of us boys will be on the ground with you.” However, some fans didn’t like the comment and bashed him for this behaviour of him.

In the meantime, speaking of the game, RCB elected to bat first and compiled a respectable total of 126 runs on a surface that made it difficult for batters to smack boundaries. Faf du Plessis, the captain of the RCB, scored 44 runs in a sluggish but responsible inning. Naveen grabbed three wickets in four overs while only allowing 30 runs, making him the LSG player with the most wickets. However, the RCB bowlers outperformed them, limiting LSG to just 108 runs and winning the game by 19 runs.
Meanwhile, many fans are expecting to see both teams clashing one more time, and that too in the playoffs as it is emerging as a brand new rivalry in the cash-rich league. Interestingly, it can be possible as both the team are sitting in the top 5 spots in the points table and if somehow they both get qualify for the playoffs, it will be a treat to watch them clashing again.
