India levelled the series in Vizag and took a 2-1 lead in Rajkot. So far, in the three Test matches, Jasprit Bumrah has bowled 80.5 over. Keeping this thing in mind team management will rest Jasprit Burmah to manage his workload.

Bowler replacing Jasprit Bumrah has taken big responsibility

The question arises if Jasprit Bumrah is rested for the fourth test who will replace him as India played with two fast bowlers and three spinners so far in the series. This is a big task for team management as Mukesh Kumar and Akash Deep are in line for a place. Ahead of the third Test match, the Indian Cricket Board released Mukesh Kumar. As Mohammed Siraj was rested in the second Test match Mukesh Kumar played in place of him. In the second Test match, he took 1 wicket while giving 70 runs. His career-best performance came for Bengal against Bihar in the Ranji Trophy final.

On the other hand, Akash Deep has got his maiden call for the Test. Akash Deep has played 29 first-class games and picked 103 wickets with an average of 23.18. In an official Test match against England Lions Akash Deep took 11 wickets in two India A matches.

To replace Jasprit Bumrah is not an easy task as his contribution and accuracy are unmatchable. The bowler replacing him will need to take big responsibility as India leads the Test series by 2-1.
