England faced a setback on Day 1 itself as their start didn’t get pretty well. On Day 4 of the fourth Test match in the last innings, Rohit Sharma scored fifty as India lost quick wickets. But Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill stood and took the game towards the Indian side. In 60.5 overs India chased the target of 192 runs set by England. India also extended their winning streak in the Test series as they won the 17th Test series at home. India only lost a home Test series 12 years ago by England under the captaincy of Alastair Cook.
