A similar happened in India Women vs England Women's one-off Test Match courtesy of a match-winning spell from Deepti Sharma, India registered a thumping win against England by 347 runs. With this win the Indian Women's team has also registered the biggest-ever victory in the history of the Women’s Test.

Earlier, on the third day, India bowled out England for 131, securing their first-ever home Test victory against England women. India declared their second innings at 186/6, setting a challenging target of 479 runs.  India's bowlers played a crucial role in the historic win spearheaded by Deepti Sharma (4/32) and Pooja Vastrakar (3/23). This victory margin of 347 runs stands as the largest in women's Test cricket, surpassing Sri Lanka's 309-run win over Pakistan in April 1998. India's exceptional performance has set a new benchmark in the history of women's Test cricket.

After winning the toss, Harmanpreet Kaur chose to bat on a favourable surface, and the Indian batters made useful contributions on Day 1, posting a total exceeding 400. Although no centuries were scored, there were a couple of century partnerships. In response, England Women struggled against the Indian bowlers, with Deepti Sharma delivering a remarkable five-wicket spell, allowing India to gain a substantial 292-run lead.

Despite having the option to enforce the follow-on, Harmanpreet chose not to, and India Women added valuable runs on Day 2, setting a challenging target of 479. In the second innings, the England batters once again lacked resilience, with Pooja Vastrakar taking three wickets and Deepti Sharma securing a four-wicket haul. Deepti, with 87 runs and 9 wickets in the match, delivered a brilliant all-round performance.
