The 23-year-old scalped 21 wickets, including a four-wicket haul and a five-wicket haul despite Sri Lanka’s miserable run of form in the tournament. The emerging bowling sensational could be on the radar of the participating teams in the IPL 2024 mini-auction.

Dasun Shanaka

However, he is expected to make a comeback in cricket during the upcoming Indian Premier League 2023. Despite batting in the lower middle order, Shanka had a good average of 28.42 in the Lanka Premier League 2023.
