The list also includes some of the stars of Sri Lanka who were in action for them in the ODI World Cup 2023.

Wanindu Hasaranga
The star spin-allrounder was released by his previous franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the mini-auction for IPL 2024. Mendis scored these runs with an average of 32.66, hitting a century and a half-century.

Dilshan Madhushanka
Young Hambantota pacer Dilshan Madhushanka stunned everyone with his performances while making his debut in the ODI World Cup for Sri Lanka. He ended up as the third leading wicket-taker in the ODI World Cup 2023, just behind Australia’s Adam Zampa and the veteran Indian pacer Mohammed Shami.
The 23-year-old scalped 21 wickets, including a four-wicket haul and a five-wicket haul despite Sri Lanka’s miserable run of form in the tournament. The emerging bowling sensational could be on the radar of the participating teams in the IPL 2024 mini-auction.
Dasun Shanaka
Dasun Shanaka was ruled out in the early stage of the ODI World Cup 2023 due to the injury and he was replaced by Kusal Mendis as a skipper for the rest of the tournament. He scalped 11 wickets in the 7 innings of the 7 matches, he played for the Kings in the Lanka Premier League 2023; Thushara also claimed a four-wicket haul in the tournament.
