Biggest regret in life is that not playing Test cricket - Manoj Tiwary
"I want to hear from him whenever I get the opportunity. I will definitely ask this question and I will ask him cordially. I would like to ask MS Dhoni why I was dropped from the team after scoring the century, especially in that tour of Australia where nobody was scoring runs, neither was Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma or Suresh Raina. I have nothing to lose now," Manoj Tiwary told News18 Bangla in an interview.
Manoj Tiwary expressed his biggest regret in life is that not playing Test cricket. In first-class cricket, Manoj Tiwary has scored 10195 runs.
"I did not receive the Test cap for India. When I finished 65 first-class matches, my batting average was approximately 65. The Australian team was touring India at the time, and I scored 130 in a friendly game before scoring 93 against England in another friendly game. I was pretty close, but they chose Yuvraj Singh instead. So not getting a Test cap and being dropped for 14 matches after scoring a century...when confidence is at its zenith and someone destroys it, it tends to kill that person," Manoj explained.
