The Cricket Governing Body has released the latest all-rounder ODI rankings on Wednesday as Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi has become new No.1 all-rounder taking the spot from Shakib Al-Hasan.
As Mohammad Nabi has scored 136 runs from 130 balls against Sri Lanka in the first ODI match. He also shared a stand-off 242 runs for the sixth wicket with Azmatullah Omarzai. He also manages to took a wicket with the ball in the first ODI match.
Shakib Al-Hasan who has 310 points hold No.1 position for last five years. Shakib Al-Hasan topped the ODI all-rounder rankings for 1,739 days since 7th May 2019. Since the 2023 ODI World Cup Shakib Al-Hasan has been not of action for the Bangladesh cricket team. He won’t be taking part for the forthcoming series against Sri Lanka. In the recently updated ODI ranking for the all-rounders, Mohammad Nabi has gained 314 points and sits on No.1 position.
Kane Williamson leads the Test batting ranking
Mohammad Nabi teammates Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan were the former players to top the Cricket Governing Body rankings in different categories. Earlier Mujeeb Ur Rahman was ranked as No.1 T20I bowler and Rashid Khan has topped the t20I and ODI bowling all-rounder chart.
Keshav Maharaj of South Africa has reclaimed his No.1 spot in the ODI bowlers. Wanindu Hasaranga has moved to 26th position. Among the batters former Pakistan captain Babar Azam still leads the No.1 spot in men’s ODI batting ranking. While Charith Asalanka has risen up to 15th position after a knock of 97 runs from 74 balls against Afghanistan in the first ODI match. Pathum Nissanka who scored double centuries in the first game has climbed to 18th position.
In Men’s Test ranking Kane Williamson sits on top while Jasprit Bumrah leads the bowling rank. While Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja still leads the all-rounder chart in Test all-rounder rankings.
