In the two-match Test series between Australia and West Indies, the visitors have defeated Australia at Gabba. In an iconic day and night Test match, West Indies have shown resilience and proved that patience pays off. Shamar Joseph single-handedly won the match for West Indies as he took seven wickets in the second innings and they won the match by eight runs. Moreover, Steven Smith missed his well-deserved century by nine runs. He was there till the end, saving his team from another Test match defeat at Gabba.

But destiny has some other plans for West Indies. It was indeed a lucky day for Joseph as he won the Player of the Match and Player of the Series at the same time. His hard work throughout the series helped him get these awards. Even though Australia tried hard to think out-of-box and declared the inning before taking a lead, the match belonged to the West Indies team from the first day.

It was a massive win for the West Indies team as Gabba is Australia's fortress and beating them in their backyard with Australia's amazing team is a commendable job done by the team. They deserve a lot more credit than they are getting now. Additionally, the two-match Test series ends in a draw, 1-1.

"It is amazing for me, I want to give a shout out to my teammates and the management" - Shamar Joseph after doing amazing work with ball

Even though the match was unbelievable, Joseph's bowling was beyond miracle. With an injured foot, he took seven wickets and helped his team win a Test match at Gabba. This match will forever be written in the West Indies Cricket history.

Joseph, after the match, said, "It is amazing for me, I want to give a shout out to my teammates and the management. I wanted to do it for my country and my team, thanks to the crowd for their support. (On the doctor) He called me this morning, I was in my bed. I said him I am not well, I am in a lot of pain and he told me to come to the ground and he believed I could do it. I did really well for my team."
