Mitchell Starc produced a jaffa to get rid of Abdullah Shafique. The left-arm pacer produced a sensational ball that pierced the bat-pad gap of the Pakistani opener. In the second innings of the third Test at Sydney, the star pacer bowled an incredible delivery which came right into the right-hander who had no clue whatsoever about it and returned to the pavilion.
Pakistan bowled well to restrict Australia to a total of under 300 runs in the first innings. In the process, they got a slight lead in the match. Aamer Jamal bowled a brilliant spell and claimed 6/69 with the ball. It has been his Test till now and no other man could have helped Pakistan during the comeback. As a result, Pakistan got an opportunity to bat again pretty earlier than expected.

Australia needed to make a statement with the ball to be back in the game. Starc did exactly that as he produced a peach to dismiss Abdullah Shafique. The left-arm pacer set the opener brilliantly in his spell. In the very first over of the innings, the tall pacer had his authority on the match as he was all over the talented batter.

Mitchell Starc asked the batter to drive the balls in the first 5 balls of the over. In the last ball, Starc tempted the batter to drive the ball again. The Pakistan opener thought the ball to be on a driving length. Unfortunately, it was not. Rather, it was an outswinger from Starc that moved hugely into the right-hander. Shafique did not expect it to nip back as much as it did.
From a good length, the ball came back sharply to hit the top of the middle and off stump. Shafique was visibly shocked. Starc was delighted with the delivery. The bails were off and the commentators went crazy. It was a dream delivery from the Australian pacer. It got the home side the first wicket of the second innings at Sydney against Pakistan.
