Former India batter Manoj Tiwary recently announced his retirement from first-class cricket, with his last appearance in the Ranji Trophy. Meanwhile, Tiwary has revealed some shocking revelations since he announced his retirement from competitive cricket. Just a day or two after his retirement, Tiwary blamed former Indian skipper MS Dhoni for not picking the former in Team India in 2011 despite a century.

In the same line of events, the former Bengal stalwart came up with some unbelievable revelations about the former World Cup-winning India batter Gautam Gambhir.

"I feel he shouldn't have said that" - Manoj Tiwary about Gautam Gambhir

Tiwary revealed about a ‘dressing-room’ fight with Gautam Gambhir almost 11 years back in the Indian Premier League 2013 edition. He also spoke about his relations with the senior players of the team, be it in the Indian Premier League or the Indian team.

“He told me, 'You meet me outside after the match, I'll see you. You are finished today.' I feel he shouldn't have said that. At Kotla, the journalists' tent was inside the field. Everyone could hear those words,” Manoj Tiwary was quoted as saying by Anand Bazar Patrika.

“I still regret that trouble with Gambhir. Because I am not the kind of person who quarrels with seniors, that incident could have been avoided. My relationship with seniors is very good. But for one incident, I got a bad name. At one time the relationship with Gambhir was good. So my regret is more. There were many discussions with him while playing for KKR. I used to decide who needed to be included in the team. All cricketers' opinions were taken. I also told myself. But as expected, the relationship did not progress,” he added later.

Notably, the former India star and now commentator Gautam Gambhir has also been in the headlines for his statements about the former Indian cricketers and his teammates, especially from the ODI World Cup 2011.
