Former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar once again entertained the fans almost 10 years after he retired from international cricket. The 50-year-old was recently in action during a charity match “One World One Family Cup”, played in Bengaluru on Thursday, January 18.

In ‘One World Charity’, the teams were divided as “One World” vs “One Family”; Sachin Tendulkar was leading the “One World” team while the former Indian batting stalwart was leading the team of “One Family”.

Meanwhile, the fans were also seen chanting ‘Sachin…Sachin…’ when the former Indian legend came to bat in the second innings for One World. The video of this special moment also started making rounds on social media as soon it was shared over X (formerly Twitter).

Speaking of the action of the match, One World skipper Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and asked Yuvi’s side One Family to bat first. Batting first, One World posted a total of 180 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Darren Maddy scored a half-century, hitting 51 runs off 41 balls followed by Yusuf Pathan’s 38 runs off just 24 balls.

Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh scalped 2 wickets at the cost of 30 runs in his quota of 4 overs, alongside one wicket each picked by Monty Panesar, Ashoke Dinda, and skipper Sachin Tendulkar.

While chasing the target, One World crossed the line in 19.5 overs, scoring 184 runs for the loss of 6 wickets courtesy of Alviro Petersen’s brilliant knock of 74 runs off 50 balls. Apart from this, Upul Tharanga, Sachin Tendulkar and Naman Ojha also contributed with knocks of 29, 27, and 25 runs, respectively. Former legendary Sri Lanka pacer Chaminda Vaas scalped 3 wickets for One Family. Eventually, Sachin Tendulkar’s One World won this charity match by 4 wickets
