Former South Africa pacer Makhaya Ntini attracted the eyeballs of Indian cricket fans for his recent antics in a video with the veteran Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Indian off-spinner requested Makhaya to share a special message for the Chennai Super Kings fans. In response, Makhaya came up with a special quick performance to please the CSK fans.

The former legendary speedster sang the special Hindi song ‘Kabhi-Kabhi mere dil mein khayal aata hai’ for CSK fans. Ashwin was in splits after Ntini sang the special Bollywood song for the CSK fans. Notably, the 46-year-old was a part of the Chennai Super Kings franchise in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League 16 years back in the year 2008. He played 9 matches for CSK in IPL 2008, scalping 7 wickets with his best performance of 4/21.

Speaking of Ravichandran Ashwin, he was a part of the Indian squad in the recently concluded two-match Test series against South Africa, which ended on an equal note with 1-1. He was also included in India’s playing XI of the first Test against SA, played at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. He scalped 1 wicket in the first innings.

Furthermore, he was replaced by the all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in the second and last Test of the series at the Newlands in Cape Town against the hosts.

Coming back to the former Proteas great Makhaya Ntini, he curled off his illustrious career in international cricket in 2009 as he played his last match against England in Kingsmead ODI on December 26, 2009. Throughout his 11-year-long international career, Ntini scalped 266 ODI wickets and 390 Test wickets, alongside 6 T20I wickets.
