Talking about cricket, MS Dhoni is set to be in action for CSK as a captain in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024. Notably, it could also be the last appearance of MS Dhoni in this cash-rich Indian franchise tournament since its inception 16 years back in the year 2008.
Last year in 2023, Dhoni led CSK to win the record-equalling fifth IPL title in the history of the team; with that win, CSK also became the joint-most successful team of the tournament, alongside the Mumbai Indians who have also won the tournament title for five times, all under the captaincy of former skipper Rohit Sharma.
Dhoni was undoubtedly one of the greatest captains who ever played and led their teams in the history of cricket, he won titles in all the major international tournaments, including the T20 World Cup 2007, ODI World Cup 2011, and Champions Trophy 2013. He is also one of the most successful Test captains for India in the history of the game.
