After the ugly banter between both teams, things have moved ahead. LSG has hosted CSK in their next game at the iconic Ekana Stadium. After the game CSK skipper MS Dhoni met players and owners of LSG.

Captain Cool also met Naveen-Ul-Haq after the game as rain interrupted the game finished without any result. Dhoni's pictures with Naveen have sparked social media. Notably, Naveen was the main character during the verbal spat between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir. He was the one from whom things started as Kohli continuously abused him during the game. After the incident, while shaking hands he again had a heated argument with Kohli which triggered the unwanted fight.

However, Naveen ul Haq later came to Instagram and posted the enigmatic message. "You get what you deserve, that's how it should be and that's how it goes," Naveen said on Instagram, implying Virat Kohli. The former India skipper also took on the platform and posted a quote indicating the incident. "Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth," posted Virat Kohli on his Instagram account.

CSK and LSG had to share points after the rain stopped the game

In the rain-interrupted game, CSK skipper MS Dhoni opted to bowl first. His decision went well with the team as the hosts were crumbling at 44-5 in 9.4 overs. Spinner Maheesh Theekshana, Moeen Ali, and Ravindra Jadeja clinched five wickets to trouble the home team. Theekshana and Ali clinched two wickets each while Jadeja dismissed Marcus Stoinis.

After their departure, LSG was in deep trouble when Youngster Ayush Badoni came to bat. Badoni in his innings scored 59 runs off 33 balls with the help of four sixes and two boundaries. He hammered around 50% of LSG's total score and added 59 runs with Nicholas Pooran for the sixth wicket. Riding on his innings LSG posted 125/7 in 19.2 overs before rain stopped the game.
