In a recent piece of news, the Pakistan Cricket Board has ended all the rumours and controversies around the ‘visa concerns’ with India ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023. The board recently released a statement in which they have requested the journalistic community of Pakistan to stay professional and responsible and not to spread any kind of rumours surrounding the visa issues for the ODI World Cup 2023.

PCB came up with an official statement which was released after the Pakistan team got their visas approved for the marquee international tournament in their neighbouring country, India. In the official statement, the Pakistan Cricket Board also stated about the entire process of visa approval from the very beginning day when they applied for the same.

“PCB applied for an Indian visa and submitted the necessary documents for the same on 19 September 2023,” reads the official statement released by PCB after their visa clearance.

“Despite being the last to apply for a visa, we were promised by BCCI and the Indian Government that the visas would be issued by 25th September which also happened. We would like to thank the Indian Government and BCCI, especially Secretary Jay Shah for the prompt action at their end,” the statement adds further.
