Gujarat to do a roadshow with the Indian T20 League trophy for their fans

The debutants in the Indian T20 League 2022, Gujarat won the tournament by defeating Rajasthan in the finals. Winning the coveted trophy in itself is a huge achievement but for Hardik Pandya’s men, it was an even bigger achievement because ahead of the tournament experts and pundits have rated them as the underdogs. The event became more special as they achieved the feat in front of their home crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The crowd in the stadium was ecstatic as Hardik Pandya lifted the trophy.

But for the fans who did not get a chance to witness the spectacle live, the franchisee will be doing a roadshow with ITL 2022 trophy. This will give the fans a chance to their eyes on the silverware for which ten teams battled it out in the last two months. As per reports by Sports Tiger Gujarat will be doing the roadshow and thanking the fans today, on 30^th May at 5:30 PM. The reports have confirmed that the procession will begin at Usmanpura Riverfront and will end at Vishwakunj Riverfront.

Captain Marvel: Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya led his team from the front throughout the tournament. In the final, he picked three important wickets of Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, and Shirmon Hetmyer. With the bat also he scored 34 runs off 30 balls at a crucial juncture stabilizing the team’s chase. He was named the Player of the Match for his all-round show in the match. He also made some important tactical decisions in the match and using Rashid Khan in the Powerplays of the summit clash was one of them.

Not just in the final Pandya has been brilliant throughout the tournament. He has performed in all aspects of the game and led the team from the front. He also made sure that the best came out of each player in his squad. Pandya’s antics made him the fourth Indian captain after MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Gautam Gambhir to win the coveted trophy.
