Young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has left everyone stunned and awestruck with his sensational batting form in the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England. The young batting sensation smashed a brilliant double century in the first innings of the second Test in Vishakhapatnam; his double ton went on to set a tempo for India’s victory in the Vizag Test.
Meanwhile, the former England skipper Michael Vaughan came up with big praising remarks for the Indian youngster. Vaughan also reckoned Jaiswal as a big challenge for England in the upcoming part of the ongoing five-match series against India.
“He’s an incredible player” – Michael Vaughan about Yashasvi Jaiswal
Notably, it was only the veteran pacer James Anderson who managed to tackle Yashasvi Jaiswal in both the innings of the second Test. Besides Anderson, all the England bowlers were played very easily by Jaiswal.
“I think he poses a challenge for England. He’s a concern. He’s an incredible player. I encountered him in Mumbai, and the following day, he scored a century in the IPL. Now, he has achieved a double-hundred against the top team in the world,” said Vaughan on the Club Prairie Fire Podcast.
India have also announced their squad for the remaining three Tests of the five-match Test series; former Indian skipper and modern-day batting great, Virat Kohli has continued to remain unavailable for the remainder of the Test series against the visitors. Apart from that, the middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer has also been ruled out of the remaining part of the Test series.
