'Take a bow' - Fans react as Yashasvi Jaiswal hits second double hundred vs England in Rajkot Test

India's star cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal hit his second successive double hundred against England, tearing into the tourists' bowling attack on Sunday in Rajkot.

India's star cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal hammered the double century on Day 4 of India vs England third Test match, which took place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Notably, the left-handed batter made 213 runs from 235 balls, featuring 14 fours and 12 sixes, to help India stand in a great position as they have the lead of 538 runs on Day 4 of the Rajkot Test.

Speaking about the game here, it was India's skipper  Rohit Sharma who won the toss and invited England to field first in the game. Notably, after being opted to bat first, Yashasvi Jaiswal was only able to score 10 runs in the first inning. However, skipper Rohit Sharma was the star of the game as he hammered 131 runs from 196 balls, scoring 14 fours and three sixes to help India stand in great position.

Following him, Shubman Gill departed for just 0 runs, while Rajat Patidar got out for 5 runs in the game. However, star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made 112 runs from 225 balls, hammering nine fours and two sixes, while star batter Sarfaraz Khan also made 62 runs from 66 balls to help India post 445 runs before getting all out. However, England were all out for just 319 runs in the first inning.

Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal gave India a great start during the second inning as the left-handed batter made an unbeaten 214 runs from 236 balls before India declared their inning at 430. India's skipper, Rohit Sharma, was only able to score 19 runs from 28 balls, scoring three fours.

However, India's batter Shubman Gill also stood up for his side in the second inning as he went on to hammer 91 runs before his horrible mix-up with star bowler Kuldep Yadav, which made him lose his wicket. Meanwhile, Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan also made an unbeaten 68 runs from 72 balls as India got a great lead of 556 runs against England in the second inning.
