Recently, India Cricket Team conducted a fun activity where the team went to the beaches of the United Arab Emirates. The activity was conducted after India beat Pakistan in the Group stages of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. During the session, some of the players were involved in surfing which requires a balance of both legs. Ravindra Jadeja, who is currently injured also participated in the activity.

Now, it is reported that the Indian Cricket Board is reportedly unhappy with the scenarios leading to Jadeja's injury. One of the officials reportedly pointed out that the all-rounder had to balance himself on ski board which wasn't part of the training manual. The official stated that it was unnecessary and the 2013 Champions Trophy winner slipped and twisted his knee.
“He had to balance himself on some kind of a ski-board as part of an adventure activity – not part of the training manual at all. It was absolutely unnecessary. He slipped and twisted his knee badly, which led to a surgery,” sources in the know of developments told TOI.
Surprising to see head coach Rahul Dravid's calmness: Indian Cricket Board official
The official added that he is surprised to see head coach Rahul Dravid hasn't shown any concern. Instead, the official stated that Dravid was expected to question this entire scenario. The official also said that Jadeja might not travel to Australia for the 20-20 World Cup next month
“What’s surprising here is, Head Coach Rahul Dravid hasn’t ‘lost his cool’ given how the injury occurred. Ideally, one would have expected Dravid to question this entire process. All said, the bottomline is – India will travel to Australia without Jadeja,” sources add.
Talking about Jadeja, he was ruled out of the ongoing Asia Cup ahead of the Super Four round. He was replaced by Axar Patel who played only one game in the tournament.
