It was a mini-auction where all the teams participated to consider some players in order to strengthen them. As expected, players like Cameron Green, Sam Curran, and Ben Stokes went for high prices.
But, there were some uncapped Indian players who managed to get high bids as well. Some fans became surprised to see their respective teams going behind those players. However, their recent performances have shown that they are worthy of each penny that they got in the mini-auction.

Shivam Mavi, 6 Crores, Gujarat
This former Kolkata franchise’s pacer was one of the names to watch out for among uncapped Indian players. Shivam Mavi enjoyed a great Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022/23 campaign as he took 14 wickets in seven matches, at an economy of 4.15. Mavi has already played 32 matches in the Indian T20 League where he has picked up 30 wickets.
He was part of the Kolkata camp from 2018 to 2022. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022/23, Mavi took 10 wickets in seven matches, at an economy of 6.64. His base price was INR 40 Lakhs. Several franchises like Kolkata, Gujarat, Chennai, and Rajasthan got involved in a bidding war. At last, Gujarat bought him for INR 6 Lakhs for the next season.
Mukesh Kumar, 5.5 Crores, Delhi
This pacer has impressed everyone in the domestic circuit across any format of the game. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022/223, Mukesh Kumar took six wickets in six innings, at an economy of 7.04. But, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he bowled better as he took nine wickets in six innings, at an economy of 4.91.
For India A also, he had a great game in their latest tour of Bangladesh A. In the first innings of the second Test, Mukesh grabbed six wickets for 40 runs. His base price was INR 20 Lakhs. Vivrant Sharma, 2.6 Crores, Hyderabad
This uncapped Indian player had a fantastic Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022/23 campaign for Jammu and Kashmir. Vivrant Sharma scored 395 runs in eight innings, at an average of 56.42. He also took five wickets in eight innings, at an economy of 6.25 with his leg-spinning abilities with the ball.
His base price was INR 20 Lakhs. His recent performances did not go unnoticed as both Kolkata and Hyderabad got involved in an intense bidding war. Finally, the Hyderabad franchise bought him for INR 2.6 Crores for the next season of the Indian T20 League. His all-around abilities can be a big asset for the franchise.
Mayank Dagar, 1.8 Crores, Hyderabad
This slow-arm orthodox bowler already has experience playing in the Indian T20 League. In 2018, Mayank Dagar was in the Punjab franchise. But, he did not have a single game to play. Now, after a gap of four years, this player has come again into the picture. His base price was INR 20 Lakhs.

Both Gujarat and Chennai wanted to take this player to their squad. At last, the defending champions bought him for INR 1.2 Crores. Bharat has enjoyed a great Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022/23 season as he scored 220 runs in seven innings, at an average of 44. However, he had an average Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022/23 by scoring 58 runs in four innings, at an average of 14.50.
