Chennai Super Kings have started their pre-season camp ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024. The holders will be looking ahead to defend their title in the 17th edition of the tournament. Last year in IPL 2023, the MS Dhoni-led CSK defeated Gujarat Titans in the final of the tournament by 5 wickets to clinch their fifth title.

The pre-season camp of CSK ahead of IPL 2024 started on Saturday, March 2. They will be playing the first match of their IPL 2024 campaign on March 22, 2024, against Royal Challengers Bangalore, which will also be the inaugural encounter of the season as the schedule of the first 21 matches has been announced.

Meanwhile, there are also speculations that the upcoming edition of the tournament could be the last appearance for CSK skipper MS Dhoni; he will be leading the side for the 15th consecutive season except for two seasons of ban in IPL 2016 and IPL 2017.

Coming back to CSK’s itinerary in IPL 2024, they will be playing 4 matches out of the 21 matches, of the announced schedule.
