Gujarat Titans picked him in the IPL auction

Ahead of the IPL 2024 mini-auction, his base price was 20 lakhs, but  Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Mumbai Indians got into a bidding war for him. Finally, Gujarat Titans picked him for Rs. 3.60 crore in the IPL auction. Robin Minz's mentor and idol is former India captain MS Dhoni, and he is set to make a big impact in cricket with his batting style.

As Hardik Pandya was traded to Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024, the young India batter Shubman Gill will lead Gujarat Titans for the first time in IPL 2024. Gujarat Titans will play their opening match against Mumbai Mumbai in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, the Indian team is headed to Dharamshala for the last Test match against England which starts from 7th March.
