In the fourth game of the Indian T20 League 2023, Rajasthan faced Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium in Hyderabad. Rajasthan batters hammered Hyderabad bowlers to all around the park to post a huge total of 203 runs in 20 overs. Star English batter Jos Buttler has played a phenomenal knock to provide Rajasthan with a quick start.

After losing the toss, Rajasthan was pushed to bat first on a flat track. The visitors capitalized on the opportunity very aggressively as they scored 85 runs in the powerplay. Opening batters, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler added 85 runs for the first wicket in six overs.

Buttler, in his fiery innings, scored a brilliant half-century as he scored 54 runs off just 22 balls. His knock was laced with seven fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, Jaiswal, during his innings, scored 54 runs in 37 balls with the help of nine boundaries.

Both Buttler and Jaiswal were dismissed by Afghani pacer Fazal Farooqi. However, after Buttler’s departure, skipper Sanju Samson also played an amazing innings. Samson also scored a brilliant half-century as he added 55 runs off 32 balls with the help of four sixes and three boundaries. He was dismissed by T Natrajan in the 19th over of the game.

As Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave Rajasthan a quick start, the visitors posted 121 runs in the first nine overs after losing a wicket. In the second half of the innings, Rajasthan was forced to slow down as Fazal Farooqi and T Natrajan controlled the game. The Afghani pacer in his spell clinched both Jaiswal and Buttler's wicket while troubling Samson with his raw pace. Overall, he clinched two wickets while giving 41 runs in four overs.

On the other hand, T Natrajan clinched two crucial wickets in the middle overs to derail Rajasthan’s express batting.
