2007 T20 World Cup-winning star Sreesanth was not happy with his former India teammate Gautam Gambhir after both were involved in the long stare-off during the LLC edition 2 clash. Notably, the left-handed batter scored 51 runs from 30 balls, which helped him post 223/7 in the given 20 overs. However, during the chase, the Gujarat Giants were able to manage 211/7 in the given 20 overs and ended their jouney after 12 runs of loss.

However, in a video that went viral on social media, Sreesanth could be seen giving a stare  to Gautam Gambhir after getting hit for a six and four. In reply, Gautam Gambhir didn't respond to his stare. However, Sreesanth took to social media and lashed out at Gautam Gambhir while alleging that the former India opener does not respect any seniors, including legends like Virender Sehwag.

"Just wanted to clear the air with what happened with Mr fighter. One who always fights with all his colleagues. For no reason whatsoever. He does not even respect his own senior players, including Viru Bhai. That's exactly what happened today. Without any provocation, he just kept on calling me something which was very rude which shouldn't have been said by Mr Gautam Gambhir," Sreesanth said in a video uploaded on his Instagram page added.

I fought that battle with all your support: Sreesanth

The 40-year-old cricketer later reveals that he is not at fault after the fight. In addition, the right-arm seamer says that things are unacceptable given what Guatam Gambhir has said to him during the match. However, the great cricketer promised that he would reveal his talk with Gautam Gambhir soon in front of the public.

"I am not at all at fault here. I just wanted to clear the air straight away. What Mr Gauti has done, sooner or later all of you will get to know. The words which he used and the things he said on a cricket field, live, is not acceptable. My family, my state, everybody has gone through so much. I fought that battle with all your support. I will surely let you know what he said,” he added further.
