Mahendra Singh Dhoni is still one of the most popular cricketers in the world despite having retired from international cricket three years ago. From a childhood football goalkeeper to India's World Cup-winning captain, Dhoni is an absolute legend in cricket. While cricket remains his first love, his adoration for football and tennis and his passion for automobiles are no secret.

Meanwhile, the latest pictures and videos that surfaced on social media show that the former India captain also loves to play golf and fans wonder if there is anything this man can't do in the world of sports. The talisman of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) led his side to triumph in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) and is currently enjoying his off-season travelling and spending time with his friends and family.

Dhoni was recently seen at a US Open 2023 event - the quarterfinal between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev - and now he is spotted playing golf with former US President Donald Trump. The wicketkeeper batter is on vacation in the United States of America (USA) and on his trip, he was invited by Trump to play a game of golf. Pictures of Dhoni with Trump in golf gear and a video of him playing a shot have gone viral on social media, with cricket fans expressing their admiration for the legendary cricketer.

It would be a gift for them to play one more season: Dhoni after IPL 2023

Dhoni retired from international cricket in August 2020 and continued to be part of the IPL as a player. The 42-year-old was last seen on the cricket field in the IPL 2023 final, where he led CSK to their fifth title. Meanwhile, there were rumours that we won't see Dhoni as a player next season, but the man himself has hinted that he will be back for his lovely fans.

“If you circumstantially see, it’s the best time to announce the retirement. The easy thing for me to say is thank you and retire. But the hard thing to do is to work hard for nine months and try to play one more IPL season. The body has to hold up. But the amount of love I have received from CSK fans, it would be a gift for them to play one more season. The way they’ve shown their love and emotion, it’s something I need to do for them,” Dhoni said after the 2023 IPL final.
