Rishabh Pant treated James Anderson as if he was a spinner: Sunil Gavaskar

Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar was impressed with Rishabh Pant’s batting in the fourth and final Test against England. Pant scored his second Test century at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The southpaw smashed 101 runs off 118 balls before falling victim to England fast bowler James Anderson. His brilliant knock was braided with 13 boundaries and two sixes. Gavaskar was surprised with Pant’s tactics against James Anderson. When the England seamer took the second new ball, Pant used his feet and hit him for a four, after which he reverse swept the veteran pacer over the slip cordon.
