Talking about the game, Liverpool wasn't bothered about the miss from their veteran player. They managed to win the game one-sided which is also their first win of the season. Before the game, they had played three games and had lost one and drew two.
The Red Brigade had a great start in the game as Luiz Diaz struck in the third minute of the game. Henry Elliot piled on the misery of the opposition three minutes later. Before the end of the first half, Trent Alexander-Arnold (28'), Roberto Ferminio (31'), and Virgil van Dijk (45') ensured that the team was led by 5-0.
Even after the second half, there was no respite for AFC Bournemouth. Chris Mepham scored the sixth goal for Liverpool in the 46th minute. 16 minutes later, Firmino scored his second goal of the game to take the team to 7-0. Fabio Carvalho scored his first goal of the game in the 80th minute. Luiz Diaz also scored his second goal of the game with five minutes left. With this, the team won the game by 9-0.
