Indian Cricketers enjoy a level of popularity that not even politicians and actors could match. Virat Kohli, for example, is Asia’s most popular athlete and is followed by a hoard of photographers and fans whenever he is seen outside. All of these fans and photographers naturally ask for a picture with the Indian cricketing star.

While it sounds very exciting for any ordinary person, it must be very taxing for these famous people. Clicking pictures with hundreds of people every time you go out is a huge task in itself, which is why these stars are often seen hurrying to avoid having to click hundreds of pictures.

In a similar incident, Kohli was asked to take a picture with a photographer while going on vacation two months ago, but the star Indian batter declined saying, “we’re getting late, we’ll take photos later.”

The photographer put up a new update where Kohli was returning from his vacation and the photographer reminded him of his promise made earlier. Kohli remembering his promise asked his wife Anushka Sharma to go ahead and agreed to take a picture with the photographer.

Virat Kohli’s actions have come as a great reminder of his humility. Fans have been won over on social media and are hailing the star Indian player for his kind gesture.

Kohli is currently taking a sabbatical from cricket in hopes of getting his form back. Notably, the Indian batter has not made a single century since November 2019. In the recently concluded England tour, Kohli made a total of 45 runs which is shockingly low for a player of his class.

The 33-year-old is expected to return to the Indian side for the upcoming Asia Cup starting on 27th August in UAE. India will play their first match against arch-rivals Pakistan on 28th August in Dubai.

India is currently on a tour to West Indies where they have played three T20Is and won two. The last two matches of the series are to be played in Florida, USA.
