In the 18th match of the ODI World Cup 2023 in Bengaluru on Friday, October 20, the Australian opening pair of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh displayed their authority over Pakistan's bowlers, impressing cricket fans. Despite Pakistan's decision to bowl first after winning the toss with hopes of early pressure on the Australian batting lineup, Warner and Marsh had different intentions.

The dynamic left-handed opener, Warner exhibited superb form by achieving his 21st ODI century in just 85 balls. His outstanding batting abilities made it difficult for the Pakistan bowlers to rein him in, and they suffered the consequences of an early drop catch by Usama Mir. But the Australian legend did not stop there as he smashed his three 150 plus score in the history ODI World Cup. The crowd at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium erupted with excitement when Warner celebrated his century in a 'Pushpa' style.

The Australia's openers, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh, made a profound impact by both scoring centuries. Warner's exceptional form led to his 21st ODI century, achieved in just 85 balls, while Marsh displayed remarkable finesse, taking 100 balls to reach his second ODI hundred. Their partnership compounded the bowling challenges for Pakistan and set a daunting target for their opponents.

As the match progressed, Australia's strong start positioned them in a commanding position, making it difficult for Pakistan to secure a potential victory. The outstanding 259-run partnership between Warner and Marsh eventually concluded in the 34th over when Pakistan's star pacer, Shaheen Afridi, dismissed Marsh.

It's worth noting that this wasn't the first instance of Warner celebrating with a 'Pushpa' dance. He had previously displayed his enthusiasm during a World Cup match in Hyderabad, dancing on the cricket field to a tune from the movie "Pushpa: The Rise," featuring Telugu Superstar Allu Arjun. Warner has even created videos where he mimics the movie's songs and dialogues, earning recognition and praise from the actor himself on multiple occasions.
