The star Indian all-rounder Sneh Rana complained of a headache during the ongoing second ODI of the three-match series against Australia Women. She was taken immediately out of the field as soon as the medical team from the Indian camp rushed to the ground following Sneh Rana’s headache concern in the first innings of the game.
Furthermore, Harleen Deol was named as Sneh Rana’s concussion replacement in the first innings; Notably, Harleen Deol has also come to bat in place of Sneh Rana in the second innings as India’s run-chase is underway against Australia.
It all happened with Rana in the 25th over of the Australian innings when she collided with her teammate Pooja Vastrakar; the former rushed her left from short third man while the latter moved her right from the position of the backward point. However, Rana completed her quota of 10 overs as her six overs remaining after this collision.

Meanwhile, after completing the 10-over quota, she was seen struggling in the field with a headache which forced the Indian management to immediately take her to the hospital and replace her with Harleen Deol.
Speaking of the action of the match, India have scored 228 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 45.4 overs while chasing the target of 259 runs in the second innings; star all-rounder Deepti Sharma and lower order batter Pooja Vastrakar are there in the middle for India at the individual scores of 11 and 2 runs, respectively.
Star wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh got dismissed recently in the 44th over at an amazing individual score of 96 runs, missing a well-deserved maiden ODI century after getting caught by Phoebe Litchfield off Annabel Sutherland. Besides Richa Ghosh, India’s number four batter Jemmimah Rodrigues also contributed with a crucial knock of 44 runs off, with 3 fours in India’s run-chase.
Earlier in the first innings, Australia Women posted a total of 258 runs courtesy of two crucial half-centuries scored by opener Phoebe Litchfield and the veteran number three batter Ellyse Perry.
