The hosts South Africa are looking in big trouble against the fiery pace attack of India led by the star pace spearhead Mohammed Siraj. He has completely ripped off the Proteas batting attack with his sensational bowling in the first spell, claiming his five-wicket haul just at the cost of 9 runs.

The Proteas skipper Dean Elgar won the toss and decided to bat first; batting first, they are crumbling against the Indian bowling attack, losing their 7 wickets just at the score of 46 runs in 19.1 overs. The cricket fans are also overjoyed following the stunning performance delivered by the star speedster Mohammed Siraj; they took to X (formerly Twitter) to laud the Hyderabad lad for completely outmuscling the host's batting lineup just in the first session of the game.

Mohammed Siraj has scalped 6 wickets at the cost of just 15 runs in 9 overs, including 3 maiden overs. Besides Siraj, his senior teammate and star Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has also scalped 1 wicket in the first innings so far.

At the time of filling this copy, South Africa had lost their 8th wicket at the score of 46 runs in 20 overs as Keshav Maharaj got trapped by Mukesh Kumar on the last ball of the 20th over. Currently, the lower order batters Kagiso Rabada and Nandre Burger are there in the middle for South Africa to struggle against the fiery Indian bowling attack.

India have made two changes in their playing XI by including Ravindra Jadeja and Mukesh Kumar to replace Ravichandran Ashwin and Shardul Thakur.

Earlier in the first Test of the two-match series, India were on the receiving end of a humiliating defeat by an innings and 32 runs against the hosts. It was only the former skipper Virat Kohli who was seen struggling against the Proteas pace attack in the second innings of the first Test.
