Star Indian pace spearhead Mohammed Siraj amazed the veteran South Africa batter and skipper Dean Elgar with a stunning delivery in the second and last Test of the two-match series. The hosts’ skipper Elgar won the toss and decided to bat first; batting first, the Proteas are looking in big trouble as they have lost 5 wickets just at the score of 34 runs in 15.2 overs in the first innings.

Coming back to Dean Elgar’s dismissal, he was left completely clueless with the late swing and seam which provided him no support in his effort to punch it through the off side. The ball ended up hitting the stumps straightaway and sent the Proteas skipper back to the pavilion just at the individual score of 4 runs and the team’s total score of 29 runs.

The video of Siraj’s amazing delivery is also making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by a user over X (formerly Twitter).

Notably, South Africa are currently leading the two-match Test series by 1-0 with a massive win in the first Test by an innings and 32 runs. Now, the visitors India are eyeing winning this match and ending the series on a winning note to equal the series by a margin of 1-1.

Earlier in the three-match ODI series, India defeated South Africa by 2-1 to clinch the trophy following a 1-1 draw in the three-match T20I series. Interestingly, Team India came up with three different captains on their tour of South Africa in the assignments of three different formats.

Star wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul led the men in blue in the three-match ODI series following the T20I series, in which World Number 1 T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav led the side. Now, the regular skipper Rohit Sharma is leading the side in the ongoing two-match Test series against the Proteas.
