Cristiano Ronaldo lauds his teammates after important win

It was a key game for Al Nassr as they went to Al-Feiha and won 1-0. Skipper Cristiano Ronaldo capped off his 1000th Club Match with a beautiful goal in the 81st minute. This was enough as Al-Nassr held onto win the game and sit pretty in the second spot.

The Portuguese legend lauded his team and wrote “Good work team” on social media. just recently the 39-year-old was in the news for all the wrong reasons. After losing the Riyadh Cup finals to AL Hilal, Ronaldo had lost his cool at the fans.

Considered one of the greatest players, Ronaldo was jeered by the opposition fans. There were a few fans who were constantly calling out for Lionel Messi. This prompted the 39-year-old to throw his runners-up medal into the crowd.

Former teammate Rio Ferdinand recently spoke about Ronaldo and his prediction about a current Manchester United player. Diego Dalot put in a perfect cross to help Scott McTominay score the winning goal at Villa Park.

The former England great said “Dalot needs a special mention. He is someone I doubted early-on. I remember speaking to Cristiano Ronaldo and said Is he really that good? And Ronaldo said that he will work hard and improve 100%”
