Here's a detailed look at Chennai Super Kings' fixtures for IPL 2024

The excitement is on the rise after the announcement of the first phase schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The 17^th edition of the IPL will start from 22^nd March. The IPL 2024 will take place in India as there are Lok Sabha elections taking place in 2024. This year IPL will consist of 67 days instead of 60 days.  

The first match of the IPL 2024 is going to be a class of giants taking place as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) led by MS Dhoni will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) led by Faf du Plessis. The first match will be played in M. A. Chidambaram Stadium which is also known as Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The hype for this match is unreal for both the team fans as the rivalry between both the IPL has a vast history. 

The last IPL 2023 title was won by Chennai Super Kings by defeating Gujarat Titans in an epic final. By lifting the IPL trophy in 2023 Chennai Super Kings now have five IPL titles besides Mumbai Indians who have won five IPL titles. Ahead of the IPL 2024 Chennai Super Kings has a strong squad and looks to win their sixth IPL trophy making them the most successful team in IPL history. Royal Challengers Bangalore, on the other hand, will look to lift their first IPL trophy in IPL 2024 putting an end to their long-lasting dream.

After RCB clash CSK will take on Gujarat Titans in their home on 26^th March. This match will be the rematch of the IPL 2023 final. Gujarat Titans will look for revenge under new leader Shubman Gill. MS Dhoni and Co. will travel to Vizag to face Delhi Capitals on 31^st March. Delhi Capitals' first two games will be held in Vizag. Later on, 5^th April they will face a strong side SunRisers Hyderabad in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
