Shimron Hetmyer can take West Indies cricket forward: Kieron Pollard

West Indies captain Kieron Pollard stated that star batsman Shimron Hetmyer could dominate all game formats. However, Pollard opines that the southpaw has to work harder to gain the confidence of the selection committee. Hetmyer has not been a regular face of the WI squad in the last few years due to injury concerns. The left-handed batsman was ruled out of the Bangladesh tour earlier this year. Since making his international debut in 2017, the 24-year-old has only represented the country in 16 Tests, 45 ODIs, and 27 T20Is. During an interview on the Line & Length TV Show on Sportsmax, Kieron Pollard reckoned that Shimron Hetmyer is the player who will take West Indies cricket forward.
