In the highly anticipated clash at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, the UP Warriors won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). RCB opted for a strategic change in their batting order, promoting Sabbhineni Meghana to open the innings. The decision proved fruitful, as Meghana provided a solid start.

She contributed 28 runs off 21 deliveries before being caught by Chamari Athapaththu off Anjali Sarvani's bowling. The standout performance, however, came from the skipper, Smriti Mandhana, who played a captain's knock.
