India's training session at Mohali was nothing short of an adventure. India will be facing Afghanistan in the 3-match T20I series. Ahead of the series, India were in the practice session at the PCA IS Bindra stadium at Mohali, which is set to host the first match of the series. It is worth noting that the weather in India is too cold at the moment.
Particularly in north India, iot is chilling cold. the Indian players were in the trainign session despite the cold. The likes of Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, Avesh Khan and other players were in the middle. Despite the chilling cold, they did not stop their practice session. The focus was on the practice and they did seem to enjoy it.

The players seemd to make fun of the situation. They regarded the cold to be very normal. Some of them claimed that it was so hot in the middle in a sarcastic way. Gill was seen in the nets practicing some long range shots. Avesh and Arshdeep Singh were seen delivering their goods in the nets. The pace bowlers will have a huge load over them in the T20I series against Afghanistan.

Rinku Singh was also seen in the practice session. Along with the other players, the youngster was seen interacting in order to gain some valuable inputs. The Indian players had some discussion with each other. The focus was also on fielding. The Indian fielding coach T Dileep was also in the middle along with the players to motivate them to practice in tough conditions.
In the background, the Indian coaches were seen discussing something with the Indian captain. For the first time since November 2022, Rohit Sharma attended a practice session for a T20I match. All of them were seen discussing about the match. The first of the three T20Is is set to take place at Mohali. the second and the third matches of the series are set to happen at Indore and Bengaluru.
