Split captaincy won’t work in India: VVS Laxman

Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman believes split captaincy is something that will not work in Indian cricket. The former batsman described why the England team had found success with Eoin Morgan and Joe Root as skippers, but India may struggle if they go the same direction. Many believe Rohit Sharma should be the man to lead India in white-ball format. The opening batsman has guided Mumbai Indians to five IPL titles. Thus it is believed that Hitman can do a better job with India’s white-ball team.
