Indian batting is a huge concern for KKR: Gautam Gambhir

Former Indian opening batsman Gautam Gambhir pointed out the problem in Kolkata Knight Riders' current squad. The veteran mentioned that the Kolkata based franchise lacks firepower when it comes to the Indian batting unit. The team brought back Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan and have also roped in Harbhajan Singh and Karun Nair. The Eoin Morgan-led side has also picked a few uncapped players at the auctions on Thursday. KKR had the lightest budget of ₹10.75 crores to spend at the auction. With around eight slots to fill, the KKR team management had to play their cards very sensibly.
